Students need a roadmap to plan their education and training pathway after high school.
Advisors need tools to help students plan and navigate their future.

Bringing career navigation to life - strong tools, strong systems

The Career Navigation Roadmap (CNR) is a framework that helps schools organize college and career readiness across grades 9–12 through three phases: Pre | During | Post — exposure, planning, and transition.
Shared Lane training helps schools embed digital tools into each phase to reach three meaningful advising touchpoints per student per year.
Shared Lane in partnership with Office of Student Pathways Digital Tool Adoption initiative helps schools use platforms like Xello and Overgrad to deepen college and career readiness — ensuring all students reach key advising touchpoints each year to ensure meaningful activation of the Career Navigation Roadmap.
Shared Lane supports schools to integrate digital tools into each phase so that every student:
Identifies career interests
Builds a postsecondary plan
Takes concrete steps toward college, career, or workforce pathways
